  Teenage pregnancy seems so common these days. I go around town and see almost every young girl with a baby. Whats going on with this? Well I have experienced this before, Im an 18 year old Mom with a 2 year old little girl. I got pregnant at age 15, had her at age 16, now here I am 2 years later.

My story was only the obvious, I thought I was “in love”, he was “my everything”, and whatever else us young girls are fooled by. Really to me it seems like the teenage years are pretty much the hardest part of our lives, BECAUSE we are constantly on an emotional rollercoaster. Trying to fit in, learning who we are, and the main one GROWING UP. Sometimes I see that in some cases, some girls just want to be loved, I have a FEW of these friends. They’ll do anything for attention, sometimes that ends up in bad cases. In my situation I was with a guy for, UMM, I’ll say maybe 3-ish years, and ended up getting pregnant. It was one of the hardest things I went through, I was only in 10th grade and never went back to high school. Luckly I’ve had family to support me and help me out, now I would never change it for anything. I’ve learned so much. Some girls have it harder out there, I can only imagine… I come from a very small, poor town. For some people here there isn’t running water where they live.  Theres more situations simuliar to that, but we also have alot of benefits here, with is so much help to our people. My advice to young girls who has a partner, JUST BE SMART. You have your whole untire life ahead of you, and dont rush your life. I know that these days, waiting until marriage to have sexual activity is out of the question. It seems like not matter what diseases are out there or the high chance of getting pregnant, young adults are STILL going to do it. I know that there are plenty of very smart teens out there who WILL wait and wont risk it, but for those who will….. Dont be afraid to take care of yourself. Who cares what people think and just do what you got to do. JUST ENJOY LIFE, theres no need to rush.
